For a project that I am starting and managing from
scratch, I usually start with a thorough competitive
anaysis. This helps guide the client through the conceptual
aspects of a project and lend a vision to the fundamental purpose
of the project. A competitve anaylsis becomes critical when a business
is ready to move forward and set the stage for its service or product.
Web and IT technologies are only as good
in comparison to how well they support your business and its growth.
If a technology isn't working for a business, then scrap it.
