Worked with the Nevada Department of Transportation in Carson City, NV. Developed enterprise-level application w/ MS-Sequel 2000 database, ASP/ASP.Net webpages, Visual Basic, Data Transformation Services (DTS), and Visio flowcharting.

Functioned as the team lead with additional project mgmt. responsibilities, and served as the primary contact to internal customers. Built 6-page website with e-commerce backend to accept payment for reservations of the Santa Cruz DreamHouse. Consulted client with domain name registration, e-commerce including merchant accounts, using PayPal, using SSL, Internet law, and forms to accept potential renter's information.

Worked with the world's leader in Voice over IP and Voice XML products to design, test, and implement a new website using Flash navigation, XML, streaming audio, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
Developed site architecture including hand-coding of html pages through DreamWeaver 3 and Interwoven TeamSite.
Used Allaire HomeSite and Notepad to hand-code CSS styles and applied them throughout the site.

Project managed team of 5 with integration to client for needed website content, Flash introduction and homepage navigation, and network configurations for additional email accounts and DNS routing.
Development included html coding through DreamWeaver UltraDev and Allaire Homesite, image creation, integrating graphics and Flash content, cgi mailforms for online ordering and project estimates (8 forms), and website setup with hosting vendor.

Built second-generation website for a Palo Alto SAN (Storage Area Networks) startup. Project manager of team of six (marketing specialists, senior technical writer, graphics designer, and systems engineer.)
Designed & built website with 40 pages.
Project management: Held weekly status meetings, created timelines and schedules, supervised delivery, kept track of milestones and deadlines.
Developed strategy for the project: For the first stage, I wrote a competitive analysis covering 21 competitors in order to decide what elements were necessary for the new website. In part two, I wrote an executive summary so that the team could decide on how to move forward. For part three, I developed the general layout of the site to give direction for the graphic designer. For part four, I worked with the technical writer and engineers to develop the JavaScript technologies.
The site was designed for Microsoft IE and Netscape for Linux using CSS and JavaScript browser detect.
Developed tabs with rollover effect using JavaScript plus other effects.
Added search engine for easy web page indexing and quick search navigation.
In order to measure marketing strategies, added Webalyzer log traffic analysis software.
In order to maintain contact with customers, developed customer database. This was done with an online registration process (offering a free white paper as incentive.) Marketing uses the email addresses to send a monthly newsletter.

Worked on very short notice helping the team in a critical phase of migrating large amounts of content to the new website. As part of a team of four, renovated a website from 3,000 pages into 1,500 pages. Worked with marketing and communications department to develop websites for each GPS product line.
