Stanford Professional Women (SPW)

Summary: Redesigned and implemented new website that would encourage brand becoming a member and looking at their next monthly event. This site caters to a highly specific audience and uses graphics to bring about the feeling of connection.

Criteria included browser compatibility with both Netscape and IE including Netscape 4.0, easy maintenance by SPW webmaster, style sheets for format and design control, branding of upcoming events, organization of second level pages and topics, and professionalism.

• Hired graphics designer to do design layouts and prototypes
• Managed work flow and all site related processes
• created storyboards with underlying site architecture
• Hand-coded html to meet minumum browser requirements including compatibility with Netscape 4.0
• Hand-coded style sheet for design control and formatting
• Created DW templates for easy site maintainence
• Trained SPW webmaster in maintaining site including adding tables, nested tables, a href and a name tags, image optimization and placement, and formatting the style sheet as needed
