Website Template so you can sell your book online or anything
else with online payment transactions, incl. step-by-step documentation.
The template includes how to set up secure, online credit card
ecommerce transactions. For example, Cindy comes to your site and
buys your book. She clicks a button at your website. She types in
her credit card number. The credit card transaction is automatically
carried out and the money is deposited into your bank account.
This is a set of templates (computer files) for a website. You
download these to your computer. It includes documentation so you'll
know what to do and how to edit the files to turn them into your
own website, with your own books for sale, including online payment.
You won't need to buy any extra software. This will work with Windows,
Macintosh, and Linux.
This can be easily adapted so you can sell anything online and
take credit card transactions. You can sell your book, your PDFs,
your photos, your music, your newsletters, your software, and so
on. You can also sell tickets for your events (this is what we are
using to sell tickets for this event.)
Select one of the following (both contain the same files.)

template as a ZIP file (78 KB). This a zip file. Click the link
and it will download to your computer (PC and Mac okay.) Remember
where you saved it (if you can't remember, search your harddisk
for "template.exe." Use WinZip to unpack the files. (If

This a self-extracting zip file. Click the link and it will download
to your Windows computer. Remember where you saved it (if you can't
remember, search your harddisk for "template.exe." Click
the template.exe file and it will unpack itself. (If you have questions

For Mac Users: How to Unpack the Template Files on a Mac
If you already have installed an unzip utility on your computer
such as ZipIt, just double-click on the template.zip file. This
will cause your unzip utility to open up the file (and you can skip
steps 2, 3 and 4)
If you don't have ZipIt or a similar utility you must download
one. ZipIt 2.2 (for Mac OS 9.x) can be found at: http://download.com.com/3000-2254-9393560.html?tag=lst-0-1
If you are running an operating system other than OS 9, other unzip
utilities can be found at: http://download.com.com/3150-2254-0.html?tag=stbc.gp
Open up your unzip utility by double-clicking on it.
From the File menu, select Open and then select the "template.zip"
file in the ensuing dialog.
When your utility opens up the "template.zip" file you
will then have to extract the component files. In ZipIt, simply
select all the files in the window (template-thankyoupayment.html,
template-index.html, template-guide.doc, and the images folder)
and then in the Zip menu, select Extract. You will be prompted to
select a location to place the extracted files.
You are now done! Just go to the extracted files in the finder
and open them up. You are well on your way to creating your own
online store!
